The 9BOX collection was born from the theme of "Fun for Sport, Fun for NB (Let's have more fun in sports! With New Balance)" and the idea that "when you take a step that makes your mind and body happy, what if there was clothing that was full of fun and comfort?"
Artists designed graphics based on the themes of New Balance products and culture. The "9BOX" features a trendy, oversized silhouette and is made from a highly absorbent, quick-drying material that feels like cotton, bringing fun to both fashion and sports. The second collaboration with one of Japan's leading animation series, "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045," has been realized. The lineup includes T-shirts and tote bags featuring graphics of the unique world view of "Ghost in the Shell," which fits into New Balance's brand platform of "Fearlessly Independent." The main character, Kusanagi Motoko, along with the Public Security Section 9 she leads and the AI tank Tachikoma, will be featured as completely original items, with illustrations by Ilya Kuvshinov.
