The new GORE-TEX® membrane extends from the entire gusset to the tongue, providing even more protection against rain.

５年前に買った８８０シリーズのGORE-TEXが4Ｅだったのでサイズ選びに迷いましたが、同じサイズの2Ｅでピッタリでした。
私は外反母趾なのですが、痛くなることもなく快適です。
デザインも以前のものよりスタイリッシュになって気に入りました。
８８０シリーズのGORE-TEXではないタイプも購入したことがありますが、GORE-TEXが一番自分の足に合っていると思います。
長時間歩いても疲れないし、急に雨が降ってきても足が濡れることもなく快適なので、出掛ける時はこの靴ばかり履いています。

もともと、前モデルを履いている私と他のNBのモデルを使っている妻が雨の日に歩いた後の湿り具合が全く違うことから、乾かす手数も勿論違うので、度々申し訳ないと購入を勧めていました。GTXシリーズはセールでも安くならないので遠慮する妻を説き伏せて購入。蒸れずに濡れないし、このモデルはソールサイドも白く、年寄り臭さもなく気に入った様です。前モデルは全体黒で丸いデザインが高齢者向けデザインぽく家内は敬遠していました（私も泣く泣く使用）が、その点も解消されて次は私もこのモデルを購入したいと思います。

梅雨入り本番。レインシューズはいくつかあるものの「やっぱり歩きやすいのが欲しいなぁー。」と妻が呟いていたので、普段履いている880のゴアテックスをプレゼント。ニコニコとレビューの点数をつけてくれました。歩行が楽なのと蒸れないのが「ちょーいー」そうです。
