Since the release of the M1300 in 1985,
The 1000 series is a collection of iconic New Balance models.
It was one of the first shoes to feature New Balance's proud technologies, such as ENCAP and ABZORB.

1985, M1300

It was released before the M1400, which was originally supposed to be released first. The use of synthetic leather on the upper gives it a much more high-tech look compared to the previous M1300.
1994, M1400
Although it was possible to produce samples, the M1400 could not be manufactured with the technology at the time. However, there was a strong demand, especially from Japan, and it was released after the M1500. The larger N mark, which inherited the M1300, became popular.
