Inspired by the inner mind and hidden aspects of personality, the collection explores this concept through subtle and intricate visual effects.
The footwear features hidden camouflage pattern details to accentuate the design, paying homage to the deep association between hip hop culture and camouflage patterns.
For this collection, Joe Freshgoods has taken a departure from his previous pastel-toned collaborations with New Balance, creating subtle and purposeful designs that are both alluring and raw.
The concept of "Beneath the Surface" is explored from two different angles: the hidden custom camouflage patterns on the footwear are a metaphor for hidden thoughts and processes within the mind, and the footwear itself has more hidden details and function than meets the eye.
Through attention to detail and hidden functionality, they add layers of depth and complexity to their footwear, elevating them to intelligent and stimulating pieces rather than simply stylish accessories.
The original model of the "MT610" was released in 2011, with the original color released in 2012. The "ML610T" is an updated version of the outdoor-inspired design of the time, with a more modern, urbane and sophisticated design.
This collaboration with Joe Freshgoods features an upper that combines camouflage-patterned embroidered nubuck overlays and mesh underlays, and is equipped with an ABZORB midsole that provides excellent shock absorption.
In addition, the Ndurance outsole is made of a durable rubber compound that provides comfort for a wide range of situations, from light hiking to outdoor activities and everyday practicality.

初めての610Tですが、他のモデルと同様のサイズで問題ないです。シューレースがつま先まで通るので、締め付ける方向で調整は他のモデルより出来ます。また、シュータンが平ゴムでアッパーと繋がっておりフィット感が向上しています。
トレイルモデルとしては柔らかい印象で、インソールを替えて調整するといいと思いました。
太めの丸紐はフルレングスのパンツだとほどけやすいです。メッシュが粗く通気性が高いのでショーツと合わせて暑い時期に履くのがいいと思いました。

アッパーのフィット感もよくシュータンとアッパーが一体のタイプで、元々の軽さと相まってとても履き心地軽やかです。
雨の日でもグリップがしっかり効いていて安心でした。
全体の作りや細部の縫製もとても丁寧で、デザインも特徴的な中、何にでも合わせやすいものになっていて大満足です。

最大の特徴は通気性が高く蒸れないこと。また、足先付近のシューレースを調整することでシチュエーションに合ったフィットを体感できます。
デザインは好みが分かれそうですが、この奇抜さは夏にピッタリです。
ただ高い通気性の裏返しで、雨の日の着用はオススメできません。
