ニューバランスのスニーカー大好きなのですが足の幅か広くても合わないのがなやみでした。この日も996を試着するも僕がはくと幅が広がりすぎてせっかくのフォルムが台無しに…。574の2Eを試したのですが、ずんぐりし過ぎて好みでありませんでした。そこで店員さんが今回購入した574のDで少し広めのデザインのものを選んでくれたところ、デザイン、サイズともに気に入りました。

7足目のニューバランス、2足目の574 Classic。何年前か記憶にないぐらい前に、足を悪くした時に出逢ってからずっとニューバランス一筋。亡き実母とお揃いにしたことも、主人にも574を勧めてデビューさせたり、子供も購入。勉強不足で型を意識したことはなかったのですが、初めて574を購入した時に『こんなにフィットして安心して歩けるなんて！』その後、違う型を購入したら軽いけどやっぱり574が好きだ！と確信して愛用。買い替えを考えた頃は 574 Classic が店頭消えて、ネット在庫でもサイズや色が好みでなく、ソールがすり減り穴があきそうなぐらいボロボロになっても履き続けて2年以上探し求めてました。靴屋さんにも『いつかは分からないけどまた574の製造が始まるのを待ってて』と言われひたすら探して探して、違う型を試してみては『やっぱり574じゃなきゃ』と再確認するだけの靴屋巡り。そんな時に広告に上がってきたものを見て『これだ！』と一目惚れ。でも、甲高幅広、靴探しはいつも難航する自分が試着なしでの購入に不安があり、数日迷って迷って会員になり今回の購入。届くのが待ち遠しくてワクワク。反面、ちゃんとフィットするだろうかと不安でドキドキッ。開封する時のドキドキは久しぶりの感情。『か、かわいい！』履き心地も正に求めていたもの！これで安心して歩くことができます！
