998が足に合わなかったのに対し、997は自然な履き心地でした。
お気に入りポイントは、履き口のかかとの内張がレザーになっているため、スムーズに脱ぎ着できる点。布生地のような穴開きにはならなそうです。
しかもかかとが高いため、少し身長が高くなった印象です。
デザイン的には1500などと比べてややゴテっとしていますが、グレーカラーで合う服も多く感じます。ローテーションの一角に入る良いお品です。
