The innovative new model "WRPD Runner" was released in the summer of 2023, which combines lifestyle and running technology and balances fashion and conceptual design.New colors are now available with a combination upper of high-quality suede and mesh based on a deep dark gray base.
The WRPD Runner was inspired by pushing the boundaries of traditional New Balance lifestyle silhouettes and distorting iconic designs.
It combines lifestyle shoes with modern running technology such as the highly elastic FuelCell midsole, incorporating modern, traditional design and futuristic elements.
Sculptural, exaggerated and non-traditional looks and silhouettes represent a completely new concept yet one that feels familiar.
The upper follows New Balance's iconic running design, with an oval shape that is a futuristic interpretation of retro running models.
The midsole uses FuelCell, which has excellent rebound elasticity.
In addition, a hard material is installed on the inside of the midfoot and a medial stability post is used to prevent the shoe from collapsing inward when landing, providing a sense of stability.
It also features a soft sculpt with an exaggerated crash pad design on the heel.
The curved outsole design wraps around the midsole and features a unique wavy tread pattern.

クッション製が高いと思います。
サイズ感が少し大き目です。
ハーフサイズダウンをお勧めします。
シュータンが短い為履いた時にグシャっとなる。

兎に角見た感じもfuturisticに見えてマテリアはかなりclassicな感じで、良い意味で面白いコンセプトだと思います。 ただこのsilhouetteを活かせるのはgreyではなくもっと派手な色かなとも思いました。
兎に角良い製品です。久しぶりに非常に気に入りました。 僕の中では、new silhouette of the year 2024でした。
I really love this silhouette! It looks futuristic online, but if you see it in person, you quickly realize this is a super versatile silhouette with a set of classy materials. I think I prefer this cushion unit to the one in the v6, I like it that much. For me this is definitely the new best silhouette of the 2024. BTW, they run a bit long and narrow, so I went half a size down and I was right on this one. Also, this sneaker is super well made just like the v6.
